Colombia Jardines Del Eden (filter)

This coffee was carefully hand-picked in order to select only the ripest cherries and then hand-sorted to remove any defects. The coffee was sundried on raised beds in temperature-controlled conditions until the ideal moisture content is achieved. This exotic variety was created in Kenya in the 1930s. Then the seeds were spread to other coffee regions in Africa, including Uganda, and later to producing countries in Latin America. This varietal is very scarce in Colombia. Planted in 2019 in Jardines del Eden, we witnessed how well this variety adapted and flourished in the climate conditions and geography of Quindio.
